Décio Maia is a biologist and holds a postgraduate degree in Business Management, with a master’s degree in Marine Biology. He has worked for over 20 years in environmental licensing and projects. In the offshore oil and gas sector, he has participated in over 50 environmental studies and projects involving seismic, drilling and production activities in the Santos, Campos, Espírito Santo, Camamu-Almada, Potiguar, Ceará, Barreirinhas, Pará-Maranhão and Foz do Amazonas Basins. He has experience in project management with the main oil and gas companies in Brazil, with business development, client and opportunity acquisition, commercial area, project management, management of multidisciplinary teams and coordination of environmental projects.
