Luiz Filipe da Silva is a chemical engineer focusing on process design and has a postgraduate degree in Process Safety. He has professional experience in process safety consulting, including the development of qualitative (HAZID, HAZOP, bowtie and others), semi-quantitative (LOPA) and quantitative risk analysis studies, modeling of physical effects (fires, explosions and chemical dispersion) and reliability studies of Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS). He also has experience in developing a management system and performing verification audits following market good practice standards related to process safety, including the ANP technical regulation on operational safety (SGSO, SGSS and SGIP) and practical experience in emergency management, including working at the command post during the incident involving the rupture of the Córrego do Feijão Mine dam (Brumadinho/MG in January 2019) and cracks in the hull of the FPSO Cidade do Rio de Janeiro (Rio de Janeiro/RJ in August 2019). He worked on projects with relevant companies in the energy and mining sectors.
