Luiza Saraiva is an environmental engineer with an MBE in Economics and Sustainability Management. She has professional experience in consulting in the area of emergency management, with an emphasis on developing response plans and reports. She manages the process of analyzing and preparing documents related to emergency management and response (whether required by the environmental licensing process and/or by corporate standards). She also manages the preparation of Bridging Documents to identify the performance and responsibilities of each party and Due diligence assessing socio-environmental aspects required by financial institutions and legal regulations. In addition to providing training and participating in emergency simulations, she has been part of incident management teams in Brazil. She is an auditor of integrated management systems (Quality, Environment and Occupational Safety) based on requirements and good practices of the oil and gas industry. In addition to leading inspections, she also guides the development of support checklists.
