Pedro Perez is an environmental engineer with a postgraduate degree in Petroleum Engineering and a master’s and doctorate in Safety, Reliability and Risk Management Engineering from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland. He has approximately 20 years of professional experience working and managing consulting projects in Safety, Risk, Environmental, Emergency and Crisis Engineering. During his career, he has led large interdisciplinary consulting projects, mainly serving the demands of clients in the oil and gas, mining, chemical industry and energy sectors. In addition, Perez actively participates in industrial conferences and publishes in scientific journals, mainly on risk analysis and management in complex socio-technological systems. Perez is one of the founding partners of EnvironPact and currently holds the position of Technical Director.
