SYLVIO NOGUEIRA

Sylvio Nogueira is a biologist, Senior Consultant for Emergency and Crisis at EnvironPact, Oil Spill Response Instructor and Incident Command System (ICS) Specialist. He has worked in emergency response and management since 2009, initially working with oil spill preparedness and response. Working for EnvironPact since 2011, Sylvio has planned, coordinated and conducted training and simulations at the largest oil and gas operators in the country, preparing emergency management teams. Participated in the management of several incidents, acting in key roles of the Incident Management System, including the Brumadinho mining dam collapse (MG, 2019), oil spill in the Lagos Region (RJ, 2019), Mariana dam collapse (MG, 2015/2016) and oil spill in the Frade field (RJ, 2011/2012). Developed and implemented remote incident management training programs. Qualified instructor in the Incident Command System (ICS) and oil spill response (accredited by The Nautical Institute).
